FileVert is a file transfer service designed to reduce environmental impact while guaranteeing sovereignty, security and confidentiality. The approach is based on structural sobriety: temporary storage, automatic deletion, renewable energy.

Structural sobriety

Temporary storage

Storage is temporary by design. Files are kept for 2 days for free users and up to 15 days for premium accounts.

Automatic deletion

Automatic deletion is systematic. An 'auto-remove' option allows a file to be deleted as soon as it has been downloaded once.

No unnecessary duplication

FileVert doesn't perform unnecessary duplication and doesn't use AI to analyze or process files.

The lifecycle is intentionally short: Upload → Temporary storage → Download → Automatic deletion.

Security & Confidentiality

Security and confidentiality

SHA-2 encryption

Files are protected by SHA-2 encryption (2048 bits). Data is never analyzed, resold or exploited.

Matomo for analytics

FileVert uses Matomo for analytical tracking, an open-source privacy-respecting solution. IP addresses are anonymized when technically possible.

Zero commercial tracking

No advertising cookies are used and no third party collects your data.

Measurement & Compensation

Measurement, reduction and compensation of impact

FileVert includes an environmental calculator for precise measurement of the impact of each transfer. This measurement covers all uses, including those of free users.
