Create the review space

Go to /collab and upload your media (video, image, presentation). FileVert automatically generates a unique review space for your project.

Step 2

Share with the client

Copy the generated unique link and send it to your client. No registration is required for them - they can directly access the review space via the link.

Comment and review

Your client can view the media and add comments in two ways:

Iterate and adjust

You receive comments in real time. Make the requested changes and upload a new version directly in the same space with the "Replace" button.

Tips to optimize your reviews

1Prepare your client

Briefly explain to your client how the tool works: "Click to comment, and validate when it's perfect". Simplicity is the key to adoption.

2Organize iterations

Define a maximum number of iterations (e.g., 3 back-and-forth) to avoid infinite revisions and maintain project profitability.

3Structure comments

Encourage your clients to be specific in their comments. "Change the color" is less useful than "Replace the blue with forest green".

No, no account is required for your clients. They simply access the review space via the unique link you send them. They can directly comment and validate without registration.
FileVert Collab supports all common formats: videos (MP4, MOV, AVI), images (JPG, PNG, GIF), presentations (PDF, PPT), and many others. Maximum size depends on your plan, up to 200 GB for Pro accounts.
All comments and version history remain accessible throughout the project's lifetime. You can keep the review space as long as needed. For permanent archiving, consider exporting comments before project completion.
While FileVert doesn't technically limit the number of revisions, we recommend contractually defining a maximum number of back-and-forths (e.g., 3) with your client to maintain project profitability. You can close the space after final validation.
